Very interesting. Until I experienced it, I would have probably pooh-poohed the notion that we store our emotions in our body. I had a very intense Thai-yoga massage that released a lot of tension in my muscles, especially associated with hips and lower back. I ended up spontaneously sobbing. Not from pain, but as part of the release of emotions stored in my muscles. It was a fascinating and illuminating experience. I have had people share that they had similar experiences while meditating.
