Warnock wins, Abrams loses. Common denominator? Georgia just isn’t a huge Trump fan. Sure, he has lots of supporters there, but not enough towards the middle of the political spectrum. Kemp killed Trumps guy in the primary. That does not seem to be hurting him in the polls, and may endear him to some middle if the road types. There has been a substantial demographic shift in the past 25 years in Georgia. It’s a mistake to think there is a new blue wave in Georgia. There IS a loathing for Trump and his ilk, however.

I hope Abrams pulls it off, but whatever the result, I think it will tell a lot about what people are looking for in a candidate.
