We’re all looking for that “diamond in the rough”. Remember, though, that all diamonds have flaws. We get dazzled by their brilliance, then deflated when we find a flaw.

And that’s the point. Don’t confuse the diamond’s flaws with the stinky lump of coal. Not saying you do, but that’s what I’ve learned from the land of dating apps. Same shit applies for us older folks.
