What I did not read here is that methane from domestic cattle accounts for 7% of greenhouse gas emissions. It is not the major contributor, but it is not insignificant. Also, this virtuous cycle of going back into plant production doesn’t really apply to dairy farming or feedlots, where much of the impactful emissions occur. It’s also where there can be an opportunity to control methane production and release.
