What’s so fascinating is that we use words for the parts of our anatomy that give us great pleasure to convey extreme derogatory judgments. It is probably related to society’s imposing extreme shame on sexual acts outside of intentional procreation. That makes sense in pre-birth control contexts. It also reflects how our sexual urges can be applied in highly destructive ways.
