Yes, I was involved in this activity for several years. Attended hours of workshops on developing and communicating strategy. It often seemed to be over complicated. At the end of the day, could the stakeholders describe the strategy in one sentence? Often not. Especially when tactics were confused with strategy, and people would ask what the brand’s strategy was this year, or how can we have a strategy that meets the need of every country. Now we have 600 slides!
