Yes, Jesus broke rules, and I imagine he would he abhorred at the religions that were created in his name. Just more rules designed to control people. My question is, what was Jesus really after? He claimed to be the Messiah, which was a specific construct of the Jewish faith. So, who was his audience and what did he really want to have happen? What was the Messiah actually supposed to accomplish in that part of the world at that time? I ask out of curiosity, because it seems to have been lost in all the religious dogma and rhetoric that has ensued since that time.
